A custom-converted vehicle to respond to your specific needs
A Canadian company based in Montreal, Van-Action converts extended minivans into lowered floor and raised roof vehicles to allow mobility-impaired persons greater movement, whether driving their vehicle, helping family members or serving customers.
Each vehicle modified by Van-Action is custom converted for its future user, which results in a unique vehicle that fully complies with the highest safety standards in North America, i.e. Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (CMVSS – National Safety Mark #R93) and Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS – USA). Van-Action is also a member of the U.S. organization, the National Mobility Equipment Dealers Association (NMEDA).
A Canadian product that’s become the industry benchmark in vehicle conversions
In addition to offering the most extensive range of lowered floor minivans, Van-Action has set the standard in the conversion of full-size vans. In Canada, it is the only company in the industry producing lowered floors made entirely of stainless steel.
Van-Action uses a number of techniques to increase vehicle accessibility, including a lowered floor with access ramp for passenger or driver, raised roof or doors, and wheelchair platform lifts. A variety of wheelchair anchor points can be positioned at the front, centre or rear of the vehicle.
Van-Action also installs a wide range of manual controls and high-technology components, such as motorized headrests, smaller steering wheels, and voice recognition systems to accommodate both passengers and drivers. And in an ongoing effort to serve the specific needs of users, Van-Action relocates all types of auto accessories.
